Nutrition Instructor
Job Summary
To support student success in nutrition education, the full-time remote Nutrition Instructor will develop remediation materials, provide individualized and group tutoring, and proactively engage with learners to address academic challenges.
Key responsibilities:
- Develop a library of written and video resources to assist struggling learners
- Analyze data to identify areas where students are facing challenges
- Provide individualized and group tutoring sessions to enhance student understanding
Required qualifications:
- Master's level degree in nutrition or a related discipline, or equivalent experience
- At least 3 years of successful teaching experience with adult or nontraditional students at the college level
- Proficiency in creating educational resources using technology
- Strong advocacy for growth mindset theory and commitment to student potential
- Experience managing competing priorities and meeting deadlines effectively
