Job Summary

A company is looking for a Commercial Auto and GL Claims Examiner, II.

Key Responsibilities

• Review, process, and conclude assigned claims, including investigating and evaluating complex Commercial Auto and General Liability Casualty Claims
• Oversee and direct outside investigative service providers and maintain communication with clients and legal representatives
• Prepare Loss Reports and provide recommendations regarding loss exposure, reserves, and settlement strategies

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred
• Minimum of five years of experience in Commercial Auto and General Liability claims
• NY state Adjuster License required
• Knowledge of claims handling concepts, practices, and techniques
• Experience with subrogation and risk transfer recovery efforts
