NY Licensed Claims Examiner

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Claims Examiner - Liability (Remote).

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze and process complex general liability claims, investigating to determine exposure and managing claims to resolution
• Assess liability and negotiate settlements within designated authority
• Calculate and assign reserves to claims, managing reserve adequacy throughout the claim's lifecycle

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university preferred
• Professional certification as applicable to line of business preferred
• Five (5) years of claims management experience or equivalent combination of education and experience required
• NY Adjusters license required or must be obtained within 90 days of employment
• Experience in bodily injury claim handling required (Non-Auto)
