Job Summary

A company is looking for a NY Commercial Underwriting Counsel.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, attorneys, and sales representatives for NY commercial transactions
• Review complex title exams and underwrite commercial transactions
• Ensure service and quality standards are met through interaction with internal team members and clients

Required Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in a similar role
• Familiarity with escrow instructions, co-insurance, reinsurance, and high liability underwriting procedures preferred
• Knowledge of SoftPro Select is a plus
• Outstanding work ethic with the ability to work in both team-oriented and self-directed environments
• High level of accountability and customer service orientation
