Job Summary

A company is looking for a WC Disability Claims Specialist II - NY Pension/PPD.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage workers' compensation claims to ensure closure and identify settlement opportunities
• Review claims for validity, confirm policy coverage, and authorize payments within limits
• Communicate claim status with customers, claimants, and clients while adhering to guidelines

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

• State Certification as an Experienced Examiner
• Bachelor's degree or a combination of education and related experience
• Minimum of 1 year of industry experience and claims management preferred
• Preference for previous experience in WC disability benefit management
