NY Licensed Liability Claims Examiner

Job Summary

Analyzing General Liability and Auto Liability claims, the full-time NY Licensed Liability Claims Examiner will adjudicate complex customer claims while working remotely and ensuring compliance with service expectations and industry best practices.

Key responsibilities

• Analyzing and processing claims to achieve timely resolutions through investigation and information gathering
• Negotiating settlements of claims within designated authority
• Communicating claim activity and processing updates to claimants and clients

Required qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred
• 5 years of claims management experience or equivalent combination of education and experience required
• Knowledge of multi-jurisdictional claims
• Licensing required, with NY preferred
• Professional certification applicable to the line of business preferred
