Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Clinical Documentation Specialist - Home & Community Based Services (HCBS).

Key Responsibilities

• Facilitate comprehensive medical record documentation by communicating with healthcare team members
• Evaluate documentation by medical staff and gather information pertinent to documentation findings
• Provide education related to compliance, coding, and clinical documentation issues

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

• Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program preferred; Bachelor's degree in nursing is preferred
• Minimum of five years of clinical practice required
• Knowledge and experience in case management, utilization management, and/or coding highly preferred
• Must hold an unencumbered RN license in the relevant state
• Must be dual certified in OASIS and Home Health Coding upon hire
