OASIS Review Specialist
Job Summary
A company is looking for an Oasis Review Specialist who reviews clinical documentation to identify opportunities for improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Reviews OASIS and patient records to identify opportunities for improvement in patient care and documentation
- Ensures compliance with OASIS guidelines and applicable regulations through comprehensive audits
- Functions as a resource for clinicians and agency staff, collaborating on necessary amendments to documentation
Required Qualifications
- Registered Nurse, Therapist, Licensed Practicing Nurse, or Therapy Assistant
- Training and experience in Quality Improvement activities
- Minimum of 3 years in Home Care or related health programs
- Knowledge of guidelines governing home health agencies, including CMS & OASIS Rules and Guidelines
- Intermediate to advanced level of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
