Obesity Medicine Physician

Job Summary

Seeking a part-time Obesity Medicine Physician, this fully remote position will manage direct patient care focusing on evidence-based obesity treatment, conduct patient visits, and collaborate with advanced practice providers while ensuring high-quality clinical documentation and team-based care initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in obesity treatment and chronic weight management
• Review patient charts and conduct visits to maintain quality and continuity of care
• Participate in team-based care initiatives and contribute to quality improvement efforts

Required qualifications

• MD or DO degree with valid Board Certification in Obesity Medicine by the American Board of Obesity Medicine (ABOM)
• Active and unrestricted Medical State License in any US State, with eligibility for additional state licenses
• Minimum of 2 years as an attending physician in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, or Obesity Medicine, or completion of an accredited Fellowship program in Obesity Medicine
• Demonstrated clinical experience in obesity medicine and pharmacotherapy
• Commitment to delivering patient-centered, culturally competent care
