Obesity Medicine Physician Licensed in CT, DE, ME, NH, NJ, PA, RI, VT

Job Summary

To support a growing virtual obesity medicine clinic, the full-time Obesity Medicine Physician licensed in CT, DE, ME, NH, NJ, PA, RI, or VT will provide longitudinal telehealth care for patients with obesity, collaborate with a care team, and participate in a rotating after-hours call schedule, all while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care focused on evidence-based obesity treatment and chronic weight management
• Participate in treatment planning and medical management support for complex cases
• Assist in the professional development of advanced practice professionals and contribute to quality improvement initiatives

Required qualifications

• MD or DO degree with board certification; ABOM diplomate or board certified in Endocrinology
• Licensed to practice and prescribe in CT, DE, ME, NH, NJ, PA, RI, or VT
• Must hold a Letter of Qualification (LOQ) with the Interstate Medical Licensure Compact (IMLC)
• Prior experience conducting telemedicine visits and working collaboratively with advanced practice professionals and registered dietitians
• Bilingual candidates with medical fluency in Spanish are highly preferred
