Job Summary

A company is looking for an Observability Engineer for a contract position.

Key Responsibilities

Configure, maintain, and improve the observability stack for monitoring, dashboarding, alerting, and APM in AWS environments
Lead the establishment of observability capabilities during a proof-of-concept period, including tooling and alerting standards
Transform raw telemetry data into actionable insights for complex systems

Required Qualifications

2-4 years of experience in observability, monitoring, SRE, or DevOps engineering roles
Hands-on experience with AWS observability tools like CloudWatch and X-Ray
Experience with at least one third-party APM or observability platform
Working knowledge of log management and aggregation tools
Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python or Bash for automation
