Observability Engineer

Job Summary

To support a growing team, the full-time Observability Engineer will design and operate observability platforms utilizing Prometheus, Grafana, and Datadog, ensuring high availability and usability in a remote work environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and operate enterprise-grade observability platforms covering metrics, logs, traces, and synthetic monitoring
• Architect deployments for Prometheus, Grafana, and Datadog, focusing on high availability and scalability
• Define and enforce service-level objectives (SLOs), service-level indicators (SLIs), and build related dashboards and alerts

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
• Five or more years of experience in SRE, platform engineering, or observability roles
• Deep hands-on experience with Prometheus, Grafana, and a major commercial observability platform such as Datadog
• Strong understanding of OpenTelemetry, distributed tracing, and structured logging
• Proficiency in at least one general-purpose programming language such as Go, Python, or Java
