Observability Engineer

Job Summary

Seeking a skilled Observability Engineer (Prometheus / Grafana / Datadog) to design and operate enterprise-grade observability platforms, the full-time remote position will focus on metrics, logging, tracing, and alerting workflows while ensuring high availability and scalability.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and operate observability platforms covering metrics, logs, traces, and synthetic monitoring
• Architect and deploy Prometheus, Grafana, and Datadog solutions for high availability and scale
• Define SLOs and SLIs, and build dashboards and alerts to operationalize them effectively

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
• Five or more years of experience in SRE, platform engineering, or observability roles
• Deep hands-on experience with Prometheus, Grafana, and a commercial observability platform such as Datadog
• Strong understanding of OpenTelemetry, distributed tracing, and structured logging
• Proficiency in at least one general-purpose programming language such as Go, Python, or Java
