Observational Research Manager
Job Summary
Working remotely in a full-time capacity, the Observational Research Manager will manage descriptive epidemiologic studies, analyze various data types related to cardiovascular disease, and provide safety research support across the lifecycle of Amgen products.
Key responsibilities
- Manage descriptive epidemiologic studies to characterize the incidence and prevalence of cardiovascular disease
- Oversee research projects involving analysis of medical claims, electronic health records, and observational cohort studies
- Conduct literature reviews and prepare research reports and scientific manuscripts to support decision-making
Required qualifications
- Doctorate degree or Master's degree with 2 years of scientific experience, or Bachelor's degree with 4 years of scientific experience, or Associate's degree with 8 years of scientific experience, or high school diploma/GED with 10 years of scientific experience
- Experience in the design, execution, and analysis of observational research studies
- Experience in cardiovascular disease research
- Familiarity with secondary data systems, including administrative claims and electronic medical records
- Strong background in observational research project planning and management
