Occupational Safety & Health Expert
Job Summary
A company is looking for an Occupational Safety & Health SME to support the Office of the Secretary of Defense for Personnel and Readiness.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the Office of the Secretary of Defense in Safety and Occupational Health initiatives
- Conduct analysis of occupational/environmental health and safety policy and performance
- Prepare technical documents and responses related to occupational health and safety issues
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in occupational health, environmental health, public health, industrial hygiene, or related field
- Minimum 12 years' experience in bioenvironmental engineering or related fields
- Experience with Federal regulatory agencies and knowledge of relevant regulations
- Experience in developing strategic level occupational health and safety policies
- Understanding of Office of Secretary of Defense roles
