Job Summary
Supporting the Cardiac Electrophysiology team, the full-time Office Administration Coordinator will manage administrative operations, assist with departmental billing processes, and generate reports while primarily working onsite in Fairfax with occasional travel to MedStar Washington Hospital Center.
Key responsibilities
- Coordinate day-to-day administrative operations, including scheduling, correspondence, and record maintenance
- Support billing functions by reviewing documentation, verifying coding, and ensuring timely billing processes
- Generate and analyze reports and operational metrics to aid departmental decision-making
Required qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; Associate degree in a related field preferred
- Progressively responsible administrative experience required
- Previous medical billing experience strongly preferred
- Working knowledge of ICD-10 and CPT coding preferred
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills for reporting and data analysis
