Job Summary

To provide essential secretarial services, the part-time hourly Office Services Assistant will manage office operations, assist with student employee hiring processes, and support supply ordering and cash receipt reconciliation in Norfolk, VA.

Key responsibilities
  • Manage office operations including greeting visitors, answering inquiries, and scheduling appointments
  • Assist in the student employee hiring process including E-1 processing and Banner verification
  • Support the ordering and receiving of supplies and reconcile cash receipts
Required qualifications
  • Strong public relations, reception, and customer service skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel)
  • Demonstrated ability to multi-task in a high-traffic environment
  • Accurate data entry skills in spreadsheet and scheduling software
  • Effective oral and written communication skills
