Job Summary
To provide essential secretarial services, the part-time hourly Office Services Assistant will manage office operations, assist with student employee hiring processes, and support supply ordering and cash receipt reconciliation in Norfolk, VA.
Key responsibilities
- Manage office operations including greeting visitors, answering inquiries, and scheduling appointments
- Assist in the student employee hiring process including E-1 processing and Banner verification
- Support the ordering and receiving of supplies and reconcile cash receipts
Required qualifications
- Strong public relations, reception, and customer service skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel)
- Demonstrated ability to multi-task in a high-traffic environment
- Accurate data entry skills in spreadsheet and scheduling software
- Effective oral and written communication skills
