Job Summary
To support families navigating educational services for children with autism, the full-time Autism Scholarship Program (ASP) Coordinator will oversee the administration of Ohio's Autism Scholarship Program, ensuring compliance, managing records, and serving as a resource for families and educational partners, with a flexible 50% remote work arrangement.
Key responsibilities
- Coordinate the Autism Scholarship Program from referral through ongoing participation, ensuring student eligibility and compliance
- Serve as the primary point of contact for families, guiding them through the application and renewal process while educating them on requirements
- Collaborate with school districts, educational agencies, and internal teams to resolve scholarship-related issues and maintain accurate records
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree preferred in Education, Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Social Work, or a related field
- Experience working with the Ohio Autism Scholarship Program strongly preferred
- Familiarity with IEPs, ETRs, or special education processes preferred
- Strong organizational and project management skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and web-based systems
