Job Summary

A company is looking for a Benefit Specialist to manage health and welfare benefits and provide HR support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer benefit offerings and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations
  • Manage leave of absence policies and facilitate communication regarding workers' compensation claims
  • Provide HR support by evaluating requests, performing audits, and assisting with process improvements
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent experience
  • 2+ years of experience in Human Resources
  • Knowledge of ACA, ERISA, COBRA, HIPAA, and FMLA regulations is preferred
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office programs
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and demonstrate integrity in handling sensitive information
