Ohio Dental Claims Specialist

Job Summary

Working remotely with quarterly on-site requirements in Centerville, Ohio, the full-time Ohio Dental Claims Specialist will manage inbound calls and process routine dental claims while providing customer service to members, providers, clients, employers, and brokers.

Key responsibilities:

• Utilizes multiple systems and applications to provide customer service via inbound calls and written inquiries
• Processes routine to moderately complex dental claims in accordance with established performance expectations
• Conducts dental claims or inquiry-related research under the direction of senior staff and assists with management-directed projects

Required qualifications:

• Associate's degree in business, healthcare administration, communications, or a related field, or equivalent education and experience
• 1-2 years of customer service or claims experience, preferably in dental insurance or a dental provider's office
• Basic to intermediate Microsoft Office skills
• Knowledge of dental benefits, terminology, and American Dental Association coding
• Understanding of standard customer service best practices and HIPAA regulations
