Ohio Licensed Academic Design Manager

Job Summary

To support the PreK-12 business, the remote Ohio Licensed Academic Design Manager will oversee the Grades K-6 Core Literacy Academic Design department, managing a team of content and curriculum developers to ensure high-quality educational materials that meet curriculum standards and market requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Manage multi-year publishing plans and collaborate with stakeholders to develop prototypes and guidelines for educational solutions
• Ensure content quality and academic integrity while adhering to budget and schedule constraints
• Empower staff through professional development and build leadership capabilities within the department

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in elementary education, literacy, or a related field; classroom teaching experience preferred
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in literacy curriculum development and educational publishing for PreK through Sixth Grade
• Knowledge of industry content development practices and academic trends
• Experience with project oversight, including managing staff and budgets
• Strong organizational and planning skills with the ability to manage resources effectively
