Ohio Licensed Actuarial Consultant
Job Summary
To support life insurance valuation activities, the full-time Ohio Licensed Actuarial Consultant will apply actuarial knowledge to ensure accurate and compliant valuation processes while collaborating with cross-functional teams in a fully remote environment.
Key responsibilities:
- Apply actuarial knowledge to life insurance valuation activities and support the implementation of evolving standards
- Prepare, analyze, and explain results for monthly and quarterly valuation deliverables
- Collaborate with stakeholders to enhance valuation tools and processes while ensuring compliance with established governance requirements
Required qualifications:
- ASA designation required; FSA preferred
- Undergraduate degree in actuarial science, mathematics, statistics, or a related field
- Experience with life insurance products and Statutory or GAAP valuation preferred
- Proficiency in analytical tools such as SQL, Tableau, or Power BI
- Familiarity with actuarial modeling software like AXIS, ALFA, or PolySystems preferred
