Job Summary
Leading complex client assignments, the full-time Ohio Licensed Actuarial Director will serve as the financial expert for large clients, making strategic recommendations on funding and plan design while leveraging data analytics to enhance client solutions.
Key responsibilities
- Communicates complex financial and actuarial concepts to drive client action and improve plan performance
- Develops financial and actuarial strategies for a portfolio of medium to large clients
- Drives revenue growth through client sales of additional actuarial and financial solutions
Required qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in health and welfare financial/actuarial strategies in a consulting or brokerage environment
- Proven ability to generate revenue and manage client relationships
- Expert knowledge in employee benefit plan design, underwriting, and funding concepts
- State Life and Health license required within 90 days of joining
- Actuarial designation and current continuing education (optional)
