Job Summary

To support a vital healthcare communication service, the full-time Ohio Licensed Answering Service RN will manage incoming calls, triage patient concerns, and facilitate care coordination while working remotely during night shifts with weekend and holiday rotations.

Key responsibilities

• Answer and triage incoming patient calls, ensuring "First Call Resolution" and accurate documentation of nursing advice
• Facilitate communication between patients, physicians, and healthcare facilities while maintaining patient privacy and confidentiality
• Proactively handle patient complaints and assist with departmental tasks to meet performance goals and maintain high audit scores

Required qualifications

• Associate's degree in nursing
• 2 - 3 years of professional nursing experience
• Registered Nurse - COMPACT (Multi-State) RN licensure
• Proficiency in electronic medical charting and Microsoft Office
• Strong customer service and telephone skills
