Job Summary
A company is looking for an Assistant Pharmacy Manager to oversee daily pharmacy operations and ensure compliance with regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day pharmacy operations and oversee medication procurement and dispensing
- Consult with patients regarding medications and handle customer inquiries and issues
- Assist with associate relations functions, including hiring, scheduling, and performance management
Required Qualifications
- 2 to 4 years of related experience in a retail/outpatient pharmacy practice
- Degree in Pharmacy from an accredited College of Pharmacy
- Unrestricted, current state license as a Registered Pharmacist in the resident state
- Experience with the Federal 340B drug purchasing program preferred
- Knowledge of pharmacy computer systems and automated dispensing solutions
