Ohio Licensed Biology Teacher
Job Summary
Engaging with students through live, on-camera instruction, the full-time Ohio Licensed Biology Teacher will deliver synchronous lessons for five or more hours daily, personalize learning experiences, and foster meaningful relationships with students and families in a remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver live, on-camera synchronous instruction, creating an engaging virtual classroom experience
- Utilize student performance data to personalize instruction and adapt teaching methods
- Maintain accurate records and provide timely feedback to keep students and families informed
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field
- Active state teaching license in Biology for grades 6-12, preferably in New Jersey, Indiana, Pennsylvania, Iowa, or Ohio
- Experience teaching in virtual and/or in-person settings
- Proficiency with online learning platforms and virtual instruction tools
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage a full student caseload independently
