Job Summary

Supporting the Nurse Manager in departmental operations, the full-time remote Capacity Management Specialist RN will manage patient flow by coordinating admissions, transfers, and discharges while ensuring effective communication between referring and receiving hospitals.

Key responsibilities

• Facilitate patient transfer requests and maintain communication with referring facilities and medical personnel
• Document patient transfer information accurately in the database to ensure real-time data integrity
• Apply clinical criteria to assess the appropriateness of transfers and escalate issues to management as needed

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in nursing (BSN) required
• Current Ohio RN license required
• Minimum of two years of experience in a clinical nursing capacity required
• Demonstration of leadership and management skills preferred
