Job Summary
Facilitating accurate provider credentialing, coding, billing, posting, and collection, the full-time Ohio Licensed CBO Specialist II will serve as a liaison between providers and payor plans while performing various registration and collection functions remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Manage provider credentialing processes and maintain provider information in credentialing software
- Review and assign coding for professional services, ensuring compliance with CPT & ICD-9 (10) standards
- Perform billing, follow-up, and collection functions for all payors, including self-pay accounts
Required qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience reading hospital/physician medical records
- Detailed understanding of CPT & ICD-9 (10) coding
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in professional/physician credentialing, registration, billing, customer service, or collections
- At least 2 years of experience specific to credentialing and/or billing office work
