Job Summary
To support the Taussig Cancer Center, the full-time Ohio Licensed Clinical Pharmacist in Oncology Infusion will manage medication services for a high-volume oncology patient population, including order verification, provider collaboration, and oversight of sterile compounding and chemotherapy robotics, with a rotating day-shift schedule and weekend and holiday rotations.
Key responsibilities
- Provide safe, efficient, patient-centered, evidence-based medication services
- Verify medication orders and dispense medications accurately according to regulations
- Document services accurately and contribute to medication safety initiatives
Required qualifications
- PharmD or Bachelor's of Science in Pharmacy from an accredited college of Pharmacy
- Current State licensure as a Registered Pharmacist (RPh) or eligible for reciprocation within 90 days of hire
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification and completion of a Board of Pharmacy approved course in immunization administration within 90 days of hire
- Experience in an IV/clean room environment is preferred
- Board Certification and completion of a Post-Graduate Year 1 Residency (PGY1) or relevant post-graduate pharmacy experience are preferred
