Ohio Licensed Coding Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Coding Specialist - HIM Revenue Specialist.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct audits of physician/provider documentation and coding for office and surgical procedure encounters
• Research and communicate coding/billing policies and provide education for providers and staff
• Review code change requests and coding denials or other payer requests

Required Qualifications

• Associate degree, preferably in health information management or related field
• Extensive knowledge of ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS coding
• Minimum of 3 years of physician/professional complex surgical and E&M coding experience
• CPC, CCS-P, CPMA, RHIT, or RHIA certification
