Ohio Licensed Coding Supervisor
Job Summary
Leading the daily operations of the coding team, the full-time Ohio Licensed Coding Supervisor will manage workflow, staffing, and performance while ensuring accurate and compliant coding practices in a remote setting.
Key responsibilities:
- Oversee workflow and staffing of the hospital coding team to promote efficiency and compliance
- Coach and develop team members while monitoring productivity and quality outcomes
- Collaborate with stakeholders to implement process improvements and support coding policies
Required qualifications:
- Associate degree in health information management or related field
- Proficiency in hospital inpatient coding with ICD-10-CM and ICD-10-PCS
- At least 1 year of inpatient or outpatient coding experience
- RHIA, RHIT, CCA, CCS, or CPC certification
- Experience with reimbursement methodologies, including MS-DRG and APR-DRG
