Ohio Licensed Compounding Pharmacy Technician

Job Summary

Working remotely on a full-time basis, the Ohio Licensed Compounding Pharmacy Technician will compound non-sterile medications, maintain compliance with USP standards, and ensure a clean and safe work environment while adhering to state regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Compound non-sterile medications following prescription orders and site SOPs
• Clean, calibrate, and maintain non-sterile compounding equipment and designated workspaces
• Maintain proper documentation, including batch records and ingredient logs, while adhering to safety protocols

Required qualifications

• Active registration as a Certified Pharmacy Technician in the State of Ohio
• High school diploma or equivalent
• At least 1 year of pharmacy technician experience, preferably in hospital or compounding settings
• Familiarity with USP standards and non-sterile compounding processes
• Strong organizational skills and a commitment to patient safety and quality standards
