Ohio Licensed Crisis Counselor

Job Summary

Providing compassionate telephonic support, the full-time Ohio Licensed Crisis Counselor will engage with callers facing emotional and behavioral challenges, conducting risk assessments and crisis interventions in a fully remote setting.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver empathetic and professional telephonic support to individuals in distress
• Assess emotional and behavioral health concerns, including risk levels and safety issues
• Maintain accurate documentation and provide resources, coping strategies, and referrals

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited four-year college or university
• Minimum of 1 year of direct experience in behavioral health, counseling, or social services
• Ohio residency required for remote work
• Ability to maintain a distraction-free, private office space for remote work
• Successful completion of a six-week paid virtual training cohort is required for continued employment
