Ohio Licensed Crisis Counselor

Job Summary

Providing compassionate telephonic support, the full-time Ohio Licensed Crisis Counselor will engage with individuals in distress, conducting risk assessments and crisis interventions while working remotely from Ohio.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver empathetic and professional telephonic support to individuals experiencing emotional or behavioral distress
• Assess clients' emotional health concerns and provide appropriate resources and safety planning
• Maintain accurate documentation and multitask effectively across multiple software systems

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited four-year college or university
• Minimum of 1 year direct experience in behavioral health, counseling, or social services
• Ohio residency is required for this fully remote position
• Ability to maintain a distraction-free, private office space with a locking door
• Access to hard-wired broadband or fiber internet with minimum speeds of 10 Mbps
