Job Summary

Providing compassionate telephonic support, the full-time Ohio Licensed Crisis Counselor will engage with individuals in distress, assess emotional and behavioral health concerns, and deliver crisis intervention services while working remotely from Ohio.

Key responsibilities

• Provide empathetic and professional telephonic support to individuals experiencing distress or seeking guidance
• Assess emotional and behavioral health concerns, including risk levels and safety issues, while maintaining accurate documentation
• Intervene in emergent situations and provide resources, coping strategies, and referrals to callers

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited four-year college or university
• Minimum of 1 year of direct experience in behavioral health, counseling, or social services
• Ohio residency required for remote work
