Ohio Licensed Donation Support Coordinator

Job Summary

To support organ, eye, and tissue donation efforts, the full-time Ohio Licensed Donation Support Coordinator will work night shifts from 7 PM to 7 AM, coordinating communication among stakeholders, ensuring compliance with regulations, and assisting families in understanding donation opportunities.

Key responsibilities:

• Initiate referrals by obtaining and entering patient information and communicating with stakeholders
• Evaluate donor suitability by documenting medical criteria and liaising with coroners and tissue processors
• Coordinate authorization processes with legal next of kin and manage case follow-ups to ensure timely communication and documentation

Required qualifications:

• Certification in a healthcare-related field or a secondary degree in education, medical, or healthcare preferred
• 2+ years of experience in a call center environment or a relevant combination of education and experience
• Able to work night shift hours
• Proficient in utilizing multiple communication channels and healthcare applications
• Detail-oriented with a strong accuracy in data entry
