Job Summary
Focusing on EEG interpretation and clinical management of epilepsy patients, the part-time Ohio Licensed Epileptologist will work remotely during night shifts, primarily from 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM EST, while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure high-quality patient care.
Key responsibilities:
- Interpret inpatient and outpatient EEG studies, including routine, ambulatory, long-term video EEG, and ICU monitoring
- Participate in patient management as requested by the neurologist on call and maintain accurate EMR documentation
- Collaborate with neurology, neurosurgery, neuropsychology, nursing, and allied health professionals to contribute to program development and research initiatives
Required qualifications:
- MD or DO degree from an accredited institution
- Board-certified/board-eligible in Child Neurology with subspecialty training in Epilepsy/Clinical Neurophysiology
- Ability to obtain an Ohio Medical License
