Job Summary
To support pet families across Toledo and surrounding areas, the part-time Ohio Licensed Euthanasia Veterinarian will provide in-home hospice and euthanasia services, ensuring compassionate care without the constraints of a non-compete agreement.
Key responsibilities
- Perform in-home euthanasia and hospice care for pets, focusing on compassionate end-of-life services
- Manage a self-scheduled workload while maintaining weekend availability on a rotational basis
- Communicate professionally with pet families and team members, fostering a respectful and empathetic environment
Required qualifications
- DVM/VMD/BVMS degree from an accredited veterinary school
- Valid driver's license and ability to work independently in a mobile environment
- Ability to lift up to 45 lbs unassisted
- Experience in handling difficult conversations and providing compassionate care
- Willingness to work weekends on a rotational basis
