Job Summary
To ensure the health, safety, and welfare of Medicaid recipients, the remote, full-time Ohio Licensed Healthcare Investigator will conduct thorough investigations of reported incidents, analyze documentation, perform interviews, and coordinate with various stakeholders.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct investigations of incidents involving Medicaid recipients and providers to ensure compliance with health and welfare standards
- Review and analyze clinical records, incident reports, and other relevant documentation
- Document investigative activities and findings, and prepare summary reports for internal and external stakeholders
Required qualifications
- Licensed Registered Nurse (RN), Licensed Social Worker (LSW or LISW), or Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC or LPCC) in Ohio
- Minimum of 1 year of paid experience in Home and Community Based Services (HCBS) related to incident investigation or quality assurance
- Experience interfacing with law enforcement, nursing homes, or regulatory agencies
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and internet-based systems
- Ability to work independently and maintain professionalism in a remote environment
