Ohio Licensed Inpatient Coder

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Coder III - Remote.

Key Responsibilities

• Translate health care services and procedures into standardized codes for inpatient accounts
• Maintain timeliness of coding, billing, and accounts receivable using Epic work quests
• Respond to documentation clarification requests and communicate with providers and coders as needed

Required Qualifications

• Associate's or bachelor's degree in HIT/HIM or high school diploma with relevant certification
• Must pass an internal coding test
• Proficient in ICD-10-CM, CPT, and HCPCS coding
• 1 year of inpatient coding experience
• CCS certification
