Job Summary
To support a growing team, the full-time Ohio Licensed Inside Sales Agent will engage with agents and prospects to sell commercial lines of insurance, providing exceptional customer service and support in a remote environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Respond to incoming calls and emails from commercial lines insurance agents or prospects, providing consultations on coverage needs and selling insurance products
- Perform outbound calls to follow up on potential sales, overcoming objections and closing deals while adhering to best practices
- Educate clients on insurance policies, payment processes, and audit procedures, ensuring accurate information is entered into relevant systems
Required Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; undergraduate studies preferred
- Three or more years of related work experience, with a minimum of 12 months of successful sales experience
- State licensing as required for commercial products, with a preference for a P&C License and experience in telemarketing or insurance environments
- Ability to quickly learn about commercial insurance products and processing systems
- Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate technical insurance information to clients and agents
