Job Summary
Dedicated to enhancing student learning, the remote Ohio Licensed Intervention Specialist will support educational and behavioral goals for students, particularly those with Individualized Education Programs, by conducting assessments, facilitating IEP meetings, and collaborating with classroom teachers.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct diagnostic and functional behavior assessments, and write behavior improvement plans
- Facilitate IEP meetings and develop IEP goals and objectives in collaboration with stakeholders
- Implement research-based best practices and culturally responsive teaching in daily instruction
Required qualifications
- Current Ohio Intervention Specialist License
- Experience in full room inclusion or co-teaching models
- Knowledge of State Standards and Common Core Standards
- Ability to pass federal and state criminal background checks (FBI/BCI)
- Experience in a multi-cultural setting preferred
