Job Summary
To provide Autism Scholarship Program (ASP) Intervention services for students with autism and other disabilities, the full-time Ohio Licensed Intervention Specialist will work onsite in Cincinnati, utilizing the Unique Learning System to implement lesson plans aligned with IEP goals while collaborating with school districts and monitoring student progress.
Key responsibilities
- Identify and assess students' unique educational needs and implement daily lesson plans
- Collaborate with school districts for IEP renewals and attend related meetings
- Supervise students and RBTs/IAs, providing coaching on instructional techniques
Required qualifications
- Certification for Mild to Moderate or Moderate to Intense disabilities
- Completion of RESA prior to employment
- Experience providing educational services to learners needing behavioral intervention
- Ability to draft and submit proposed IEP goals to districts
- Familiarity with the Ohio Department of Education portal for progress reporting
