Ohio Licensed Intervention Specialist

Job Summary

Committed to fostering impactful learning experiences, the remote Ohio Licensed Intervention Specialist will support educational and behavioral goals for students, particularly those with Individualized Education Programs, by collaborating with teachers, conducting assessments, and facilitating IEP meetings.

Key responsibilities

• Work cooperatively with classroom teachers to assist in classroom intervention strategies and modify curricular as necessary
• Conduct diagnostic assessments and facilitate IEP meetings, writing goals and objectives for students
• Utilize research-based best practices and culturally responsive teaching in daily planning and instruction

Required qualifications

• Current Ohio Intervention Specialist License (preferred)
• Knowledge of State Standards and Common Core Standards
• Experience working in a multi-cultural setting (preferred)
• High proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google products
• Ability to pass federal and state criminal background checks (FBI/BCI)
