Job Summary
Managing a team of Reimbursement Analysts, the full-time Ohio Licensed Lead Reimbursement Analyst will oversee complex reimbursement cases, provide mentorship and support to team members, and ensure adherence to quality standards while working remotely.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary contact for moderate to complex reimbursement cases, managing escalations and resolving denied claims
- Provide leadership and mentorship to Reimbursement Analysts, conducting performance management and fostering a collaborative team environment
- Act as a liaison for internal teams and external stakeholders, assisting with communication and reporting related to reimbursement workflows
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant experience
- Minimum 4 years of recent healthcare/medical billing experience, with 1-2 years in a leadership role preferred
- 2 years of direct reimbursement or patient support program experience preferred
- Active Pharmacy Technician Trainee license or ability to obtain one within 90 days of hire
- Advanced knowledge of medical insurance, billing, and coding terminology
