Job Summary

As a full-time remote Ohio Licensed Medical Coder, the candidate will be responsible for accurately coding diagnoses and procedures, ensuring clear documentation with providers, and correcting claim errors in a timely manner.

Key responsibilities

• Accurately code diagnoses, procedures, and services for medical records and billing
• Collaborate with providers to ensure documentation is clear and complete
• Review claim edits and correct errors promptly

Required qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Proficient in ICD-10-CM, CPT, and HCPCS coding
• Minimum of 1 year of physician/professional coding experience or equivalent education and experience
• CPC, CCS-P, RHIT, or RHIA certification required, or must obtain within 90-day probationary period
