Job Summary

To support a growing Medicare Advantage plan, the full-time Ohio Licensed Member Service Specialist will respond to consumer inquiries regarding plan benefits and services, ensuring compliance with federal regulations while working remotely.

Key responsibilities
  • Respond to consumer inquiries via phone, in person, or in writing, ensuring compliance with CMS and other regulatory requirements
  • Engage with consumers to meet service performance goals and implement retention strategies to maintain membership
  • Document inquiries and actions taken accurately within designated software systems
Required qualifications
  • Minimum of high school education; some college-level studies preferred
  • Experience in customer service with knowledge of Medicare and CMS regulations
  • Proficiency in PC applications, including Microsoft Office and data entry
  • Understanding of managed care benefit plans and medical terminology
  • Ability to effectively communicate and organize tasks in a fast-paced environment
