Ohio Licensed Outpatient Coding Director

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Associate Director, Outpatient Medical Coding.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee timely and accurate coding of outpatient visits and audits
• Develop and implement policies and procedures to meet organizational goals
• Monitor employee performance and provide training for coding specialists

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in health information administration or equivalent required
• Minimum 3 years of medical coding and/or revenue management experience required
• Preferred 7 years of relevant industry experience in outpatient medical coding
• Required certifications may include RHIT, RHIA, CCS, or COC
• Experience with electronic health records and health information management applications required
