Ohio Licensed Patient Service Specialist

Job Summary

Providing exceptional patient-first healthcare, the full-time Ohio Licensed Patient Service Specialist will assist with scheduling, pre-registration, and MyChart enrollment while working remotely from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday, with a rotating Saturday shift every six weeks.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver a comprehensive and proactive experience for patients and visitors, ensuring stellar service
• Investigate, triage, and resolve patient issues using the established HEART model
• Perform patient registration, insurance verification, scheduling, and maintain confidential patient information

Required qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED with 2 years of experience in patient registration, appointment scheduling, or customer service; OR an Associate's Degree with 1 year of experience; OR a Bachelor's Degree
• Knowledge of medical terminology is preferred
• Ability to operate a PC and other office equipment
• Capability to lift and transport up to 25 pounds
• Must reside in Ohio
