Ohio Licensed Payroll Accountant

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Temporary Payroll Accountant to support its payroll accounting function during a critical period.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare payroll-related journal entries and record them in NetSuite
• Complete monthly balance sheet reconciliations in Blackline and resolve variances
• Process biweekly Canadian payroll for two legal entities while ensuring compliance

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in payroll accounting with exposure to payroll operations and general ledger accounting
• Hands-on experience with NetSuite and/or Blackline or similar ERP platforms
• Solid understanding of payroll compliance, including US federal and state requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred; CPA or CPP designation is a plus
• Experience with Canadian payroll is a strong plus
